On 19 September, Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan arrived Abu Dhabi on an official visit to the UAE. The Prime Minister was warmly received by Crown Prince HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Presidential Apron, Abu Dhabi Airport.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Asad Umar, Information Minister Fawad Hussain, and PM’s Adviser for Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood.
From the UAE side, HH Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; HH Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and a number of dignitaries, ministers and senior civilian and military officials were present.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations and expressed satisfaction on the current level of mutual cooperation and woved to enhance them further. They also discussed strengthening of economic cooperation and increasing bilateral investments.
The two sides discussed current issues of common interest in the region and expressed their satisfaction over convergence of their views on issues of regional and global importance.
The Crown Prince hosted a dinner for the Pakistan Delegation.
