Proceesing of Pakistani Identity Documents

As you are aware, the Government of Pakistan is offering following online services to obtain identity related documents, especially to facilitate the Pakistani nationals living abroad:-

• Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)
• National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP)
• Pakistan Origin Card 9POC)
• Family Registration Certificate (FRC)
• Cancellation of Identity Card.

It has been observed that after the success of this online initiative of the government, many people have started using this online system for commercial purpose and have opened up fake websites and agencies/ bureaus where they process NICOP/POC applications. These bureaus/agencies are not only charging extra money other than notified fees from applicants but can also be a threat to the identity of the applicants, whose data goes to unknown agents.

All respected members of the Pakistani and Pakistan-origin community are requested to directly access the official website mentioned above so that they are not fleeced by unscrupulous elements.
