Professor Amjad’s books’ Italian and Turkish translation launched at the Foreign Ministry

Renowned poet and intellectual Professor Amjad Islam Amjad presented the Turkish and Italian translation of two of his books to the Foreign Secretary, Mr. Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry today in a simple ceremony at Foreign Office. These books titled “Cento Poesie D’Amore” and “Kara Buyu” have been translated into Italian and Turkish languages by renowned Italian and Turkish scholars.

Professor Amjad Islam Amjad’s work would help promote Pakistan’s image abroad.

Professor Amjad appreciated the cooperation extended by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for translation and publication of his books.

The Foreign Secretary lauded Mr. Amjad Islam Amjad’s extensive contribution for promotion of Pakistani literature abroad.

Ambassador of Turkey in Islamabad, Mr. Sadik Babur Girgin and senior officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were also present on the occasion.
