PROVISION OF CONSULAR SERVICES AT REGINA AND EDMONTON

In continuation of High Commission of Pakistan’s strategy to provide consular services to the Pakistani community in their respective areas, the Consul General of Pakistan in Vancouver, Dr Muhammad Tariq will be visiting Regina on February 20-21 to meet the Pakistani community in the morning of 21st February 2020 at Islamic Association of Saskatchewan’s mosque where the Consul General will address concerns of the community and  provide consular services. He will also be honoured by the University of Regina for the promotion of relations between Pakistani educational institutions of higher learning and The University of Regina.

2. The Consul General is scheduled to visit Edmonton, Alberta on 29 February and 1st March 2020 to meet the community and provide Consular Services.
3. The visit of Consul General to Regina is in line with the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan and emphasis of the High Commissioner Raza Bashir Tarar to focus on the welfare of the overseas Pakistanis for maximum facilitation of the Pakistani community in their respective areas.
4. It may be mentioned that earlier the Consul General in Vancouver undertook consular visits to Saskatoon and Calgary in December 2019 and January 2020 respectively.
