Pyongyang International Women Association (PIWA) Summer Bazar-(2018-05-12).

Pakistan Embassy in Pyongyang actively participates in various cultural events organized locally in the capital.

One of the activities is participating at PIWA Bazar through selling of Pakistani food items, textile and jewelry items.

The funds generated through Bazar are given as charity for the needy people of DPRK in the fields of education, health and women welfare.

The funds are personal contribution of Embassy Officials. This year, Summer Bazar was held at the Russian Embassy premises on 12 May 2018 in Pyongyang.

Several Embassies and EU NGOs participated.

The Embassy participation was through auction sale of Pakistani dress. During the period of years 2016 and 2017 an amount of Euro 2,004 was donated by the Embassy to the PIWA fund.
