Reception on the occasion of Pakistan National Day, 23rd March 2016

As a part of celebrations of National Day of Pakistan, an impressive and befitting reception was held at a local hotel in the evening. It was attended by local dignitaries, members of diplomatic community, members of Pakistani community and media personnel. To project the soft image of Pakistan, touristic brochures of Islamabad and four provincial capitals were prepared especially by the Embassy and displayed for distribution outside the reception hall. DVDs containing documentaries on Pakistan were also prepared for distribution among the participants. On the occasion, Ambassador Mushtaq Ali Shah gave exclusive interviews to electronic and print media, which included Nile TV (Egyptian News Sector), Nile Culture TV, and daily newspapers; Al-Ahram, Al-Akhbar, Al-Watan and Al-Youm 7. During the interviews, the Ambassador highlighted historical perspective of Pakistan National Day and different aspects of relations between Pakistan and Egypt.
