Press Releases|

In view of the deteriorating security situation in Libya, our Embassy in Libya has been consistently in touch with Pakistani community in that country. The Embassy from its interaction with the community, has indications that the number of Pakistanis who may have to be evacuated is between 3000-6000. Since no Libyan airport is operating at the moment, our Embassy in Tunisia is making arrangements for Pakistanis to get Tunisian visa on arrival at the border from where they will be able to take flights for Pakistan.

Our Embassy in Tripoli has already registered a large number of Pakistanis and referred their documents to Tunisian authorities for visa on arrival.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our Embassy in Tripoli once again advise all Pakistanis in Libya to contact the Embassy and inform the Embassy personnel about their location and get registered, if not already done so.

Pakistan Embassy remains open and can be contacted on the following help lines:

– No. 00218 922379368 (Mr. Ayaz Khan)
– No. 00218 922555216 (Mr. Kamran)
