SAARC Inter-Summit Ministerial Meeting

The SAARC Inter-Summit Ministerial Meeting is being held in Pokhara, Nepal from 14-17 March 2016. The Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Mr. Sartaj Aziz will lead the Pakistan delegation to attend this Council of Ministers Meeting.

The Ministerial Meeting will be preceded by SAARC Standing Committee Meeting comprising the Foreign Secretaries of the Member States. Mr. Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry will represent Pakistan in the SAARC Standing Committee Meeting on 16 March 2016.

On the sidelines, the Adviser will hold bilateral meetings with all his counterparts from the SAARC Member States (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka) to present formal invitation letters from the Prime Minister of Pakistan to the Heads of State/Government of the SAARC Member States for the 19th SAARC Summit to be held in Islamabad this year.
