Start of Machine-Readable Passports Facility

The Machine-Readable Passport facility has been installed in the Mission from 29th September 2015 and the issuance of Manual Passports has been discontinued.
All Pakistanis living in Bosnia & Herzegovina and Croatia having Manual Passports are advised to obtain Machine Readable Passports (MRP) in lieu of Manual Passports at the earliest by visiting the Embassy in person to give the Bio-metrics. The visit is mandatory to obtain fresh/renewed MRP.

Appointment system

All Pakistani citizens living in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia are hereby informed that they can visit Embassy during the office hours (09.00 am to 4.30 pm from Monday to Friday) for issuance of MRPs or any other consular related services. They are advised to make an appointment with Mr. Ghulam Mehdi, on the phone numbers 00-387-33- 66 66 57 & 211 836 or via email parepsarajevo@mofa.gov.pk.

Online NADRA Registration New Overseas ID Card (NICOP) 

NADRA has introduced “on-line registration” for the issuance of NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis), POC (Pakistan Origin Card), CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card), Smart Identity Card and FRC (Family Registration Certificate).

All Pakistanis living in Bosnia & Herzegovina and Croatia are advised to apply online for their CRC, NICOP, CNIC or Smart ID as the manual registration at the Embassy has been stopped.

Different Types of Visas

Business Visa requirements

i) Duly filled-in (capital letters) Visa Application Form, complete in all respects.
ii) Original Passport (valid for at least 6 months)
iii) Copies of previous visas, especially of Pakistan, if any.
iv) Two recent colored photographs (white background)
v) Invitation letter from a Pakistan company mentioning the purpose and the duration of the visit.
vi) Letter from the local Pakistani Chamber of Commerce & Industry introducing the company.
vii) Letter from the Employer / Company Registration papers.
viii) Details of Travel program, mentioning period of stay required.
ix) In case of third country nationals, copy of valid Residence card of Bosnia & Herzegovina.
x) The Embassy may request any other document.

Visit Visa requirements

i) Duly filled-in (capital letters) Visa Application Form, complete in all respects.

iii) Copies of previous visas, especially of Pakistan, if any.

v) Invitation letter from a Pakistan national (with a copy of his/her Identity Card) and / or an introductory letter from a Registered Pakistani Company.
vi) Details of Travel program, mentioning period of stay required.
vii) In case of third country nationals, copy of valid Residence card of Bosnia & Herzegovina.
viii) The Embassy may request any other document.

 

Tourist Visa requirements

i) Duly filled-in (capital letters) Visa Application Form, complete in all respects.
ii) Original Passport (valid for at least 6 months)
iii) Copies of previous visas, especially of Pakistan, if any.
iv) Two recent colored photographs (white background)
v) Invitation letter from any registered tourist organization in Pakistan or a Pakistani national who will submit an undertaking for the applicant.
vi) Details of Travel program, mentioning period of stay required.
vii) In case of third country nationals, copy of valid Residence card of Bosnia & Herzegovina.
viii) The Embassy may request any other document.

 

Foreign Spouse of Pakistani Nationals

i) Duly filled-in (capital letters) Visa Application Form, complete in all respects.
ii) Original Passport (valid for at least 6 months)
iii) Copies of previous visas, especially of Pakistan, if any.
iv) Two recent colored photographs (white background)
v) Marriage certificate / Nikah-nama along with copies of ID card and Passport of Pakistani spouse.
vi) Details of Travel program, mentioning period of stay required.
vii) The Embassy may request any other document

 

Study Visa requirements

i) Duly filled-in (capital letters) Visa Application Form, complete in all respects.
ii) Original Passport (valid for at least 6 months)
iii) Copies of previous visas, especially of Pakistan, if any.
iv) Two recent colored photographs (white background)
v) An Admission letter from a Recognized Educational institution/University in Pakistan.
vi) Details of Travel program, mentioning period of stay required.
vii) The Embassy may request any other document

Family Re-Union visa requirements

i) Duly filled-in (capital letters) Visa Application Form, complete in all respects.
ii) Original Passport (valid for at least 6 months)
iii) Copies of previous visas, especially of Pakistan, if any.
iv) Two recent colored photographs (white background)
v) Invitation from Pakistani national along with ID proof
vi) Documentary proof to establish a relation with the Pakistani national
vii) Details of Travel program, mentioning period of stay required.
viii) The Embassy may request any other document

NGO Visa requirements

i) Duly filled-in (capital letters) Visa Application Form, complete in all respects.
ii) Original Passport (valid for at least 6 months)
iii) Copies of previous visas, especially of Pakistan, if any.
iv) Two recent colored photographs (white background)
iv) Invitation Letter from a registered NGO from Pakistan
v) Letter from the BiH/Croatian NGO regarding the proposed visit to Pakistan.
vii) Details of Travel program, mentioning period of stay required.
viii) The Embassy may request any other document

Note: The application will be forwarded to the Ministry of Interior, Pakistan for clearance which will take at least 6-8 weeks.

Following Visa Fees will be charged from the Nationals of Bosnia & Herzegovina and Republic of Croatia.

Note:
i) Prescribed Fee should be paid in local currency (KM) equivalent of the above rates in US Dollars.
iii) Croatian nationals may be asked to visit the Embassy for interview and the issuance of visa.

Procedure for Machine Readable Passport (MRP) 

Processing of MRP application includes recording of biometric data (finger print scanning), photographing, taking the applicant’s personal data and interview for which personal attendance of the applicant is mandatory at the Embassy.
MRP applicants must possess valid computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or National Identity card for Overseas Pakistani (NICOP) issued by National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
If there is a discrepancy between the information provided by the applicant and the data in NADRA’s database, the applicant can rectify the information first in the NICOP before applying for MRP. (The applicant will be required to produce documents like Birth certificate, Matriculation certificate, valid Passport, or valid Visa to prove or justify the changes noticed in data fetched from NADRA system/ database).

In case of change of a female applicant’s name due to marriage, the applicant should first change her NICOP/CNIC card to the married name before applying for MRP showing the marital status on the Marriage Certificate.

Requirements for applicants: 18 years of age and above 

i) Valid and original Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistani’s (NICOP) issued by NADRA.
ii) Original and latest Passport either MRP or Manual (valid or expired).
iii) Proof of residence in the Bosnia / Croatia (valid resident permit, Visa etc).

Requirements for applicants: Below 18 years of age 

i) Valid and original Computerized Family Registration Certificate (FRC) issued by NADRA or NICOP.
ii) Both parents’ original NADRA ID Card (CNIC/ NICOP).

For Dual Nationality Holders: Copy of the Foreign Passport.

Note: Clearance from Ministry of Interior, Pakistan will be required. Besides for processing, Consular official may ask for additional papers/documents, if required.

Renewal of MRP 

Renewal of Machine-Readable Passport has the same procedure as applying for new one with all the required documents. MRP cannot be renewed via mail or by nominating any representative.

2. Urgent (36 pages & 5 years) KM 120.00

Lost Passport 

Applications for lost passport are processed after verification of particulars by the passport issuing authority, in Pakistan.

Requirements 

i. Original Police Report in detail (with certified English Translation).
ii. Original valid CNIC / NICOP / CRC with photocopy.
iii. Photocopy of lost Pakistani Passport.
iv. Proof of Residence/ stay in the country.

Fees for Lost Passport 

Ordinary Processing

1. First time loss: KM 144.00
2. 2nd time loss: KM 288.00

Urgent Processing

1. First time loss: KM 288.00
2. 2nd time loss: KM 576.00

NOTE: The issuance of Machine-Readable Passports (MRP) may be delayed due to unforeseen reasons and technical problems at the Directorate General of Immigration & Passports Headquarters, Islamabad, Pakistan.

Requirement for Renunciation of Pakistan citizenship

i) Applicant must be present.
ii) Six copies of Form X (dully filled in) plus six copies of Computer Form.
iii) Original valid Pakistani Passport
iv) Original valid NICOP/CNIC
v) 7 recent passport size colored photographs with light blue background.
vi) Two Copies of the BiH / Croatian passport.
vii) Original letter of BiH / Croatian Ministry of Interior for renunciation of nationality along with certified English translation.

Requirement for Registration of child with the Embassy within three months of birth

i) Applicant must be present in person.
ii) Form-S dully filled in completely
iii) Five photographs (colored) of the child (both eyes open and ears visible) with light blue background.
iv) Birth Certificate (Original) with certified English Translation.
v) Copies of Pakistani valid Passports and CNIC/NICOP of parents having marital status written (original).
vi) Copy of parents’ residence card/ Visa in the country of stay.
vii) Marriage certificate / Nikah-nama of parents duly attested by relevant authorities.

Power of Attorney/Attestation

i) Applicant must be present in person along with original NADRA card or Passport.
ii) Witnesses must be present if mentioned on the document. Original NADRA cards along with copies of witnesses are also required.
iii) Fee for power of attorney is KM 12.00 per document/signatures.

Legalization of documents

i) Foreign documents (Bosnian / Croatian) must be first legalized/attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia & Herzegovina / Croatia before attestation at this Embassy.
ii) Pakistani documents must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan (or its Camp offices at Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta) before attestation at this Embassy.
iii) Attestation fee for any document is KM 12.00 per page/signatures.
