Second flight arrives Warsaw carrying 7.5 tonnes of humanitarian aid from Pakistan for People of Ukraine

Second flight of humanitarian aid from Pakistan for the people of Ukraine arrived today at Chopin Airport Warsaw carrying 7.5 tonnes of cargo. The aid consisted of medicines, blankets, ration and food items. The humanitarian flight is part of the second consignment of humanitarian assistance from Pakistan. The first flight arrived on 1st June 2022.

The humanitarian flight was received by Malik Muhammad Farooq, Ambassador of Pakistan to Poland; Brigadier Qasim Shazad, Pakistan’s Defence Attaché accredited to Poland; officials of Poland; and representatives of Ukrainian Embassy in Warsaw.

Previously, Pakistan had sent first consignment of 15 tonnes humanitarian assistance for the people of Ukraine on 15th March 2022.
