Mr. Younus Dagha Secretary Ministry of Commerce Islamabad visited Bangkok from 20-21 April 2017. During the visit, he met with the Permanent Secretary of Commerce Thailand and discussed issues of mutual interest on bilateral economic relations including the early conclusion of Pakistan Thailand Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations and possibility of enhancing exports to Thailand. Mr. Dagha also attended UNESCAP’s High Level Dialogue on Regional Economic Cooperation and Integration (RECI) for Enhancing Sustainable Development in Asia and the Pacific. Mr. Dagha participated in all key sessions of the Dialogue and moderated the Session on “Moving towards the formation of an integrated market as a key pillar of RECI.” The Dialogue brought together relevant government officials to identify challenges and propose recommendations to enhance regional economic cooperation and integration in Asia and the Pacific.
