Status of Evacuation of Pakistani Nationals from Libya – 2

As of the evening 3 March 2011, 585 Pakistani nationals have returned to Pakistan from Libya.

Pakistani nationals that have arrived today, 3 March 2011, include the following:

– 195 by a special chartered PIA flight from Dalaman (Turkey).

– 36 from Egypt by commercial flights.

Pakistani nationals arriving tomorrow, 4 March 2011, will include the following:

– 5 from Egypt via commercial flights.

– 115 by a flight chartered by a Turkish company. Foreign Ministry is coordinating the arrival.

– 10 from Tunisia by commercial flights.

Eighty Pakistanis have reached Egypt and will be sent to Pakistan by the Pakistan Embassy on commercial flights.
