(2018-10-01) The 7th session of the Assembly of Parties of the Laxenburg-based International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), which took place in Vienna from 27-28 September 2018, unanimously adopted the draft resolution tabled by Pakistan on ‘Strengthening the library of the IACA’.
The Pakistan resolution was co-sponsored by several IACA Parties, namely Austria, Argentina, Brazil, China, Egypt, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nigeria, Russian Federation and Turkey.
This initiative underscores Pakistan’s political commitment to the agenda of IACA in the core areas of anti-corruption education, scientific research into various aspects of corruption, and professional training.
Pakistan is a Party to the founding Agreement of IACA and regularly participates in the annual sessions of IACA’s Assembly of Parties.
