The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Syed Tariq Fatemi, visited the Embassy of Republic of Korea in Islamabad today, to sign the Condolence Book in memory of Mr. Kim Young-sam, former President of the Republic of Korea, who passed away in Seoul on 22 November 2015.
The Special Assistant paid rich tribute to the leadership of the late President, while recalling his life-long struggle for democracy and human rights, and commended his role in deepening the friendly relations between Pakistan and Republic of Korea. He recorded sentiments of grief and sympathy on behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan, for the South Korean people, and wished them courage and the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
