Turkey offer condolences on the devastation caused by the recent earthquake in Balochistan

The Turkish Foreign Minister H.E. Mr. Ahmet Davutoglu made a phone call to the Foreign Secretary Mr. Jalil Abbas Jilani today to express sympathy and offer condolences on the devastation caused by the recent earthquake involving loss of precious lives and property in Mashkel area of Balochistan. On behalf of the people and Government of Turkey, Foreign Minister Davutoglu while expressing solidarity with the Government and people of Pakistan, offered assistance for the ongoing relief efforts in the earthquake hit areas.

During the call, the Turkish Foreign Minister also expressed his anguish over the recent attacks on the political leaders in KPK and Balochistan.

The Foreign Secretary briefed the Turkish Foreign Minister about the destruction caused by the earthquake. He expressed deep gratitude and appreciation on the support offered by the Government and the brotherly people of Turkey.
