Born on 18 May 1964. Holds Master degrees in MBA, MA (Economics) & M.Sc. (Politics of World Economy).
Joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1991.
Served at M/o Foreign Affairs as Desk Officer (1993-1995 & 1999-2004).
Served as Joint Secretary (Inter-Parliamentary Relations), Senate Secretariat (2011-2012).
Held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistan Missions abroad: Tashkent (1995-1999) and Geneva (2004-2010).
Served as Consul General at Jeddah (2013-2015).
Served as Ambassador to Lebanon (2015-2018).
Served as Additional Secretary (Americas) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2018 – 2020).
Served as Director General, Foreign Service Academy (FSA) (Jan 2019 to Feb 2020)
Presently, serving as Ambassador of Pakistan to Austria with concurrent accreditation to Slovakia.
Also serving as Permanent Representative of Pakistan to UN and other International Organizations based in Austria.
Married and has two sons.
