Visit of 48th Pakistan Navy Staff Course (2-6 April) 2019 to Manila

A twenty two member delegation of Pakistan Navy War College, Lahore headed by Commandant Rear Admiral Naveed Ahmed Rizvi HI (M) including Officers of Pakistan Navy and from friendly countries namely United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain and Sri Lanka visited Manila from 2-6 April 2019 for a study tour. The visit started with a comprehensive briefing on Pakistan-Philippines relations at the Embassy of Pakistan in Manila by Ambassador Dr. Aman Rashid on 3 April 2019, who also hosted a dinner in their honour the same evening at a local Pakistani Restaurant. In the next two days the group visited Defence institutions and National Security Policy making bodies. The head of delegation held meetings with both heads of Navy and Air Force of the Philippines. The group left Manila on 6th April 2019 after completion of a very successful visit.
