Webinar on Academic Opportunities in European Universities and Post-Academic Career Development

Embassy of Pakistan in Austria, along with Embassies of Pakistan in Germany, Denmark and Sweden, and in collaboration with Dunya Forum and Muhammad Ali Jinnah University Karachi organized a webinar today on academic opportunities in European Universities and post-academic career development. It was attended by students and Faculty members from Muhammad Ali Jinnah university, Karachi.

Ambassador Aftab Ahmad Khokher thanked Dunya Forum and Muhammad Ali Jinnah university for their cooperation to organise the event. He stated that education was very important sector for connecting Pakistan with other countries and strengthening bilateral cooperation. Pakistani students, a future of the country, can promote soft image of Pakistan through their academic excellence in European countries. He said that Embassy of Pakistan in Vienna would continue all possible facilitation to the aspiring Pakistani students.

Dr. Mohammad Faisal, Ambassador in Germany, urged the students to get admission in Germany as education was free there. He advised them to apply for visa at least one year before start of academic year.

Mr. Ahmad Farooq, Ambassador in Denmark, said that level of education was very high there as its universities were at top positions in international ranking.

Mr. Zahoor Ahmad, Ambassador in Sweden, advised the students to explore academic opportunities in Sweden which offered very economical education with high standards for their bright future.

While thanking Dunya Forum and Embassies of Pakistan for organizing the webinar, Dr. ZubairShiekh, Vice Chancellor of Muhammad Ali Jinnah University underscored the importance of education and collaboration with foreign universities. He said that the webinar was very useful for guidance of the students of Muhammad Ali Jinnah University. Therefore, he suggested to continue such engagement for facilitation of the students.

Mustafa Habib Siddiqi, Editor Forum in Dunya newspaper, thanked Ambassadors for providing guidance to students for exploring academic opportunities in European countries. He said that Dunya Forum would continue such webinars for facilitation of students who aspire to get admissions in European universities.
