WEBINAR ON THE OCCASION OF ‘YOUM-E-ISTEHSAL’

Embassy of Pakistan organized a Webinar in Urdu on the occasion of ‘Youm-i-Istehsal’ to observe a year of Indian illegal and unilateral actions of August 5, 2019. The Webinar was attended by Pakistan community leaders and journalists from across Italy.

In his keynote address on the occasion, Ambassador JauharSaleem highlighted The reign of terror unleashed by Indian forces in IIOJk in the last 365 days. He apprised the audience of Modi government’s brazen attempt to change IIOJK’s demographics and its political, economic and social character.

Notwithstanding, the year long siege, the Kashmiri people had proven that their spirit and determination remained unflinched in the face of Indian brutality.

The participants were also briefed about the steps taken by the Government of Pakistan to highlight the atrocities perpetrated against the people of IOJ&K and Pakistan’s efforts afoot to rally international support for the cause of right of self-determination of Kashmiri brethren.

The audience was urged to play their part in promoting awareness of the issue, both at collective and individual level, by all means available to them including the use of digital media.

The messages of President, Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, on the occasion were also read out.

Half a dozen other speakers, on the occasion, impressed upon the fact that it was the moral responsibility of every Pakistani expatriate to extend moral support to Kashmiri struggle for the right of self-determination at every platform, and create maximum awareness in the Italy.

At the end, the participants offered dua for Kashmiri Martyrs and early resolution of Jammu & Kashmir dispute.
