Pakistan re-elected to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL)
Pakistan was re-elected to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), by the General Assembly, in New York, yesterday, to serve another six year term from 2016-2022.
Pakistan's re-election to the core legal body within the UN on international trade law is an endorsement of the pro-active role that we have played in promoting harmonization and unification of the law of international trade, inter alia by addressing structural and procedural constraints.
Pakistan will continue to uphold this progressive reform agenda during its forthcoming term at the UNCITRAL.
