H.E. Mr. Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Russian Federation, met with the Pakistani team participating in the Abilympics International Competitions for Professional Skills for Persons with Disabilities, in Moscow today. The Competition was organised by the Russian Ministry of Education and Moscow City Government.

Ambassador Tirmizi deeply appreciated the entire Pakistan delegation for their commitment and enthusiasm, and encouraged them for their participation. In particular, the Ambassador congratulated Mr. Ansari Zainul Abbidin, who secured the Third Prize in the sewing competition and was awarded Bronze Medal.

The Ambassador had a frank exchange of views with the delegation members and assured of Embassy’s full assistance and support to them. He also promised to convey the official support of the Government of Pakistan to ensure participation of Pakistanis with disabilities in such international competitions.
