On 19 January 2025 H.E. Major General Anjum Enayat (Retd), Ambassador of Pakistan to Libya visited Misrata city and held meetings with Honourable Chairman Mr. Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki, Misrata Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture and other prominent Libyan businessmen along with Honorary Consul of Pakistan Mr. Omar Jaffar. During meeting, export of Pakistani goods especially, cement, rice, spices & sportswears as well as enhancement of trade volume, exploring investment opportunities and participation in upcoming trade fairs in Pakistan by the Libyan businessmen were discussed.

DPM/FM Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting today to review the latest developments in the region. He reiterated that Pakistan is facilitating Iran-US talks for achieving peace and stability in the region and beyond. Pakistan will continue with its efforts in this regard.
