At UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, Pakistan was elected as Vice-Chair of the General Assembly of State Parties to the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Pakistan remains steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding and promoting Intangible Cultural Heritage; and actively contributing to multinational inscriptions and preservation efforts for cultural expressions reflecting its rich and diverse heritage. It will continue to working closely with Member States to advance international cooperation for the protection and transmission of living heritage for future generations.

Alhamdulillah, blessed with the opportunity to be in Madinah Al-Munawwarah again and to offer my humble salutations to Aaqajan SAWW at the Roza-e-Rasool ﷺ. Humbled to visit Jabal Uhud and pay my respects to the Shuhada-e-Uhud. I prayed for the well-being and prosperity of the people of Pakistan, and for peace, unity, and prosperity across the Muslim world. May Allah accept our prayers and guide us all toward unity, compassion, and service to humanity. Ameen.
