Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a bilateral meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in Moscow.

The DPM/FM thanked the Russian Foreign Minister for the warm welcome and excellent hospitality as well as congratulated him on the successful holding of the SCO CHG meeting.

Both leaders discussed Pak–Russia bilateral relations and expressed satisfaction at their positive trajectory, noting the key role of leadership-level engagement & institutional mechanisms in advancing cooperation.

The two leaders also exchanged views on current regional & global developments and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening coordination at multilateral fora, including the UN and the SCO.
