A virtual meeting to commemorate Kashmir Day was hosted by the Pakistan Embassy Bulgaria on 25 October 2024. Members of Pakistan Community in Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Embassy personnel attended the meeting.

The meeting commenced by introductory remarks by Deputy |Head of Mission, Ms. Wajiha Khan. Messages issued by the incumbent President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan were read out. A documentary compiled on the Kashmir struggle by the Ministry was shown to the participants. Several members from the community also expressed their thoughts on the occasion.

The Ambassador in his speech expressed continued moral and diplomatic support of the Government of Pakistan for the Kashmir struggle. He called on the community to spread the message to elicit support of the international community for realization of the inalienable right of self -determination to the people of Kashmir by the atrocious Indian regime.

The event concluded with prayers for an early resolution of the Kashmir issue and freedom of the Kashmiri people from the reign of terror launched by India.
