The Embassy hosted an elaborate iftar dinner on7 April 2024.The event was attended by dignitaries of the host government including the Minister of Tourism, Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry, high officials from Bulgarian government, Vice Mayor,Grand Mufti of Bulgaria, Dean of Diplomatic Corp, numerous Muslim Ambassadors as well as representatives of friendly countries. Members of the Bulgarian business community and Pakistani diaspora were also present on the occasion.

In his opening remarks, Ambassador Modasar Chaudhry spoke about inter­ faith harmony. He underlined the need for joint efforts to address the deteriorating situation in Illegally Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir(IIOJK) and advocating their right of self-determination.

Adocumentary on Pakistan, showcasing itsculture, scenic locations, famous personalities, cuisine and industry was screened throughout the event along with religious music by prominent Pakistani artists, which invited praise from those present.
