'Kashmir Solidarity Day’ was organized in the High Commission, today. Pakistani-diaspora in Tanzania attended the event. High Commissioner Siraj Ahmad Khan gave an overview of the background of 'Kashmir Solidarity Day’, highlighting the prevailing situation in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIO JK). Special messages of the President, Prime Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan were read out on the occasion. A special documentary on Kashmir was also shown to the audience.

 Mr. Ghazi Naeemullah Dar, Pakistani member of Kashmiri Origin, expressed his views and called for early resolution of the Kashmir dispute to fulfill the aspirations of the People of the IIOJK.

 Special prayers were offered for the freedom of IIOJK.
