Ambassador Shozab Abbas presented his Letters of Credentials, as non-resident Ambassador — Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Panama with residence in Mexico, to H.E. Mr. Laurentino Cortizo Cohen, President of the Republic of Panama, in a Ceremony held at the Presidential Palace of Panama on 25 January 2024.

In a subsequent meeting with Honourable President Laurentino Cortizo, Ambassador Shozab Abbas conveyed greetings of the Honourable President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and expressed his commitment to make endeavors to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries. President Laurentino Cortizo extended all possible support of his government to Ambassador Shozab Abbas in his endeavors to strengthen the bilateral relations.

Ambassador Shozab Abbas also met H.E. Janaina Tewaney Mencomo, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Panama.
