The Embassy of Pakistan in Moscow solemnly observed Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir to mark the anniversary of India's unilateral and illegal actions of 5 August 2019 and to reaffirm Pakistan's steadfast support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir and their internationally recognized right to self-determination.

On the occasion, the messages of the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan were read out. A short documentary was also screened, highlighting the developments following the events of 5 August 2019 and their humanitarian and legal implications for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

The ceremony was attended by officers and staff of the Embassy, members of the Pakistani community in the Russian Federation, representatives of the media, and invited guests.
