Ambassador Shozab Abbas presented his letters of credentials to the Mexican President H.E. Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, at the National Palace (Palacio Nacional) in Mexico City. Ms. Alicia Bårcena, Foreign Secretary was also present at the occasion. Ambassador Shozab Abbas highlighted the significance of Pakistan-Mexico relations and requested the President to reopen Mexican Embassy in Islamabad.

Ambassador Shozab Abbas also highlighted the close existing cooperation between Mexico and Pakistan and wished the two countries may strengthen their political relations by exchanging high level visits to understand the vision of the respective governments and play a constructive role to bring peace and stability in the world.

President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador assured that the foreign relations with Pakistan would grow both in terms of diplomatic ties and economic collaboration. President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador expressed his real sincerity, consideration and liking to build stronger partnership with Pakistan.
