Seminar on Kashmir Solidarity Day 2024
A seminar was held at Pakistan High Commission, Pretoria to observe "Kashmir Solidarity Day" 2024.
The event was attended by several social activists, members of the parliament, academia, media and Pakistani community from South Africa.
High Commissioner Aftab Hasan Khan gave the opening remarks at the event and highlighted India's illegal occupation of the disputed territory and the ongoing gross Human Rights Violations in IIOJK.
HC urged the international community to stand with the Kashmiri people for their in-alienable right to self-determination just like they have expressed solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine.
The speakers stressed for resolution of the Jammu & Kashmir dispute in accordance with the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and aspirations of the people of IIOJK.
