On occasion of Youm-e-Pakistan

a flag hoisting Ceremony was held at Chancery premises.

Messages of

President and Prime Minister were read out for the Community.

In his speech, Amb Maj Gen (Retd) Syed Qaiser Abbas extolled the vision of the Founding Fathers. He explained how 23rd March 1940 was a turning point for the Muslims in the subcontinent, following which movement for an independent modern Muslim state commenced.

Members of Pakistani-Bosnian diaspora were in attendance.
