Joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1994.

Served as High Commissioner in Singapore (Aug 2019 – Jun 2024).

Worked at Headquarters as Section Officer (UN), Section Officer (Canada and Latin America), Section Officer (Iran and Turkey), Deputy Director (Japan and Korea), Director (India), Director (Organization and Career Planning)& Director General (Middle East).

Held diplomatic assignments in Pakistan Missions at Ankara, Kuala Lumpur, Warsaw, Berlin.

Holds Master’s degree in Political Science from University of Peshawar, KPK, Pakistan, a Turkish language Diploma from Ankara University, Turkey, a US-South Leaders Engagement Programme under the Executive Education Programme from Harvard Kennedy School, USAand a Post Graduate National Security Diploma from National Defence University, Islamabad, Pakistan.

Speaks Urdu, English, Turkish, Pashto and Seraiki.

Married with a son and a daughter.
