The current government under the President Tebboune has been focusing on an open and corruption free Algeria, under the tagline ‘New Algeria’. It envisages a diversified economy.
As a part of Government policy to enhance commercial interactions, the Government of Pakistan established a Trade Mission, headed by a Trade and Investment Counsellor in the Embassy of Pakistan, Algiers in January 2020.
