The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), Government of Pakistan, has launched the "Pak-ID" mobile application to simplify the Visa Prior to Arrival (VPA) process, starting February 15, 2025. This innovative move aims to streamline the visa application process, making it more convenient for travelers.
This innovative deployment enables applicants to seamlessly submit their VPA applications via the PAK-ID Mobile App. Notably, the VPA facility will remain accessible on both the website and mobile app platforms.
The integration of VPA into the PAK-ID Mobile App aims to enhance security through advanced features of Liveliness Detection through Facial Recognition Document Detection System and Facial Recognition System to mitigate the issue of unfiltered / unwanted visa applicants.
