The Embassy of Pakistan in Spain is looking for an English/Spanish translator and administrative assistant to join its offices in Madrid. The translator will report directly to the Head of Chancery and work in the Ambassador’s Office.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
- Translation of media reports, official correspondence, Embassy documents, etc.
- Providing liaison interpreting in official meetings for the Ambassador and/or other Embassy officials.
- Assisting the Head of Chancery in regard to the Embassy’s administrative functions, as required, including interaction with Spanish Ministries, collaborating in daily administrative tasks, etc.
- Any other official task assigned by the Ambassador and/or the Head of Chancery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in translation and interpretation.
2. Proficient level of English and Spanish.
3. Previous work experience in a similar administrative position would be preferred.
4. Solid organizational skills, capable of meeting deadlines, and good interpersonal skills.
5. IT skills, Office package: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Salary: 1700€/month (in addition the Embassy will pay towards the social security contribution)
