Power of Attorney is a very sensitive and legal document and should be given to the most trusted and reliable person like father, brother, son, daughter or sister etc. By power of attorney, you are handing over your complete ownership of your movable or immovable property to the next person to handle it in whatever manner you want to authorize that person. You have to write the power of attorney yourself or through a lawyer/advocate and come in person to the Embassy of Pakistan with valid Pakistani CNIC/NICOP/POC or Passport along with three recent colour pictures and sign the power of attorney before the officer after payment of prescribed fee. The power of attorney would have three sets and two witnesses (Pakistani Nationals) are also required to be present with you at the Embassy.
In case someone is unable to visit the Embassy in person, they can apply online at poa.nadra.gov.pk.
Please note that Power of Attorney must be attested within 90 days from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan and then must be registered in the Registrar Office within 120 days.

Yes. However, the document issued by the Spanish Authority must be attested by Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Keep in mind that any document, that is, Birth certificate, Marriage Certificate, divorce certificate or death certificate issued either by your country must be first attested by the concerned Ministry of Foreign Affairs of issuing country of that document. For example, a birth certificate issued by the Spanish Authority must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your country. This principle applies to all documents.
No, unfortunately the Embassy doesn't have biometric facility. In such cases the Embassy can only attest the authority letters if the concerned authority accepts it.
