The Ambassador, accompanied by the Trade and Investment Counsellor (TIC), visited Paraguay to participate in the International Business Round (FEPY) organized by the Industrial Union of Paraguay (UIP). During FEPY, the commercial section engaged with a number of South American companies through productive business meetings aimed at promoting trade, investment, and commercial collaboration. The visit also included meetings with the Paraguayan Chamber of Motorcycles and Automotive Industries (CIPAMA), the National Council of the Export Maquila Industry (CNIME), the Paraguayan Chamber of Supermarkets (CAPASU), and the Industrial Union of Paraguay (UIP). Discussions focused on bilateral trade-related matters and practical ways to further enhance economic cooperation between Pakistan and Paraguay. The Paraguayan chambers and industry representatives appreciated the Mission’s proactive outreach and commercial engagement efforts, underscoring the growing interest in strengthening business-to-business linkages and expanding trade opportunities between the two countries.
