It has come to the notice of the Embassy of Pakistan in Phnom Penh that agents based in Pakistan and Cambodia are recruiting young people from Pakistan for work opportunities in Cambodia.

Their Modus operandi:

• Advertise fake jobs through online job platforms
• Offer positions of Data Entry, Call Center, Marketing, Online work, with lucrative salary packages
• Arrange visas for Cambodia, air travel between Pakistan and Cambodia
• Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, the prospective employees are tricked to sign contract and send to scamming companies
• In the companies , the employees are forced to indulge in online scamming and financial fraud
• The companies torture the employees who refuse to carry out the criminal activity
• The companies demand thousands of US$ from the employees who want to go back

Please do not accept such jobs offers and avoid falling victim to these criminal elements

Before accepting any job offers from the companies claiming to be based in Cambodia, please verify the credentials of that company from Pakistan Embassy in Phnom Penh through following email:
