

64th Anniversary of Pakistan-Niger Bilateral Relations.
The Embassy of Pakistan in Niger hosted a special ceremony on 12 December 2024 to commemorate the 64th Anniversary of Pakistan-Niger Bilateral Relations and bid Grand Farewell to Dr. Ahmed Ali Sirohey, the outgoing Ambassador of Pakistan. The event was graced by the presence of the Foreign Minister of Niger, who chaired the ceremony as the Guest of Honour.
The ceremony featured a cake-cutting ceremony and emotional speeches acknowledging the Ambassador’s significant contributions to strengthening the ties between the two nations. A special video showcasing the 64-year journey of bilateral relations was also displayed, highlighting key milestones and achievements throughout the years.
The event was attended by a distinguished gathering, including members of the diplomatic corps, government officials, representatives of the Armed Forces, academia, civil society, students, and the Pakistani community in Niger.
The attendees expressed their gratitude for the Ambassador’s efforts in promoting cooperation and goodwill between Pakistan and Niger. The ceremony underscored the deep and enduring relationship between the two nations, which has been built on mutual respect, shared interests, and a commitment to furthering bilateral ties.
