Today, H.E. K.K. Ahsan Wagan, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Sultanate of Oman called on H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal Nasser Al Maawali, Chairman Majlis e Shura, Sultanate of Oman. During the meeting, Ambassador of Pakistan conveyed a message of felicitations/greetings on behalf of the leadership of Pakistan. He also handed over the felicitations letter addressed to Chairman Majlis e Shura received from Mr. Asad Qaiser, Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan. While congratulating the Chairman on Oman’s 50^th National Day, Ambassador acknowledged the deep rooted brotherly relations between Pakistan and Oman. He also discussed ways and means to enhance Parliamentary Cooperation between the two brotherly countries. Ambassador Wagan appreciated Oman’s role in containing the COVID-19 global pandemic and wished that people of Oman will bravely face this global pandemic. Ambassador also thanked His Majesty for announcing General Amnesty for expats and also for granting Royal pardon to prisoners which included Pakistan nationals.   Embassy of Pakistan ~ Muscat November 18, 2020
