H.E. Ali Javed, Ambassador of Pakistan recently welcomed guests on board Pakistan Navy Ship 'Saif' at Muscat Port. The Event was hosted to mark bilateral visit of Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi, Chief of Naval Staff as well as Oman's Renaissance Day. Chief Guest Commodore Saif Mohammed Al Habsi, Base Commander Said bin Sultan Naval Base, Wudam, Diplomatic Corps and representatives from Omani Civil Society and Enterprises as well as friends from Media and Pakistani notables were among the 125 guests who were served Pakistani cuisine prepared by the Ship's Chief Chef. In his introductory remark, Shahid Wasif the Captain of the vessel outlined robust cooperation between Navies at bilateral and multilateral platforms as well as Pakistan Navy's latest initiative Regional Maritime Security Petrols (RMSP). Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador praised the soaring trajectory of bilateral Parliamentary, Political and Military exchanges and appreciated the record number of port calls by Pakistan Navy as being reflective of the excellent status of bilateral relations. The Ambassador highlighted the historical and unique bonds of common history and geography and praised His Majesty sagacious leadership spanning five decades as a beacon of peace and friendship.
