Pakistan Embassy in Astana observed “Youm-e-Istehsal”

The Embassy observed “Youm-e-Istehsal” at the Chancery today. The event was attended by members of Pakistani community, students, locals and representatives of civil society. The event expressed solidarity with the people of IIOJK and condemned India’s illegal actions of 5 August 2019 and its subsequent steps aimed at undermining the internationally recognized disputed status of Indian illegal occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

On the occasion, the messages from the President, the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister of Pakistan were read out. Pakistan’s leadership paid rich tribute to the brave Kashmiri people for their steadfast resistance against India’s illegal occupation, and reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support to the people of IIOJK until the resolution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions and aspirations of Kashmiri people.

A photo exhibition and documentary, highlighting the egregious human rights violations in IIOJK by Indian forces were also arranged.
