A special event was organized at the Embassy of Pakistan Djibouti to commemorate Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, and the 1500th birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. The ceremony was attended by members of the Pakistani community, local dignitaries, and staff of the Embassy.
The program began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by naat recitations paying tribute to the life, character, and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. H.E. Ms. Aqsa Nawaz, Ambassador-designated of Pakistan to Djibouti, in her remarks, highlighted the universal message of peace, compassion, tolerance, and unity espoused by the Holy Prophet ﷺ, and emphasized the relevance of these values in today’s world.
The Islamic speakers highlighted the significance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi as a moment of reflection on the Prophet’s exemplary life, encouraging the community to embody his teachings in their daily lives and promote harmony and goodwill in society.
The event concluded with special prayers for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan and for unity and peace among the Muslim Ummah.
The Embassy thanked all attendees for their participation and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting cultural and religious values among the Pakistani diaspora in Djibouti.
