Embassy of Pakistan, Berlin participated in the two day Asia Berlin Summit 2024 which was organised at the Rotes Rathaus, Berlin from 25-26th November, 2024. The themes for this year’s summit were Green Tech Energy, AI Quantum, Mobility Transport, Health / Biotech and FinTech / InsurTech, respectively.

Participants from China, Japan, India, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Indonesia,Bangladesh and Philippines participated in the said event. For the very first time, the Embassy of Pakistan via its booth provided an

opportunity for the young diaspora to showcase their projects and cultivate B2B ties with the relevant stakeholders. Ambassador Saqlain Syedah attended the summit on both days and reiterated the Embassy’s support to the diaspora. She also remarked next year participation from Pakistan would also be ensured with the young talent to connect virtually and in person with the stakeholders. This year four young community members availed the opportunity and had a healthy interaction with the visitors regarding their projects.

The Summit, supported by the Berlin Senate department, provided a collective platform to the communities within the start up ecosystems across Asia and Berlin.The annual summit is also an opportunity to the policymakers, start-ups and investors to collaborate and discuss newest tech trends from Asia and Berlin. The Summit would be followed by visits to relevant Innovation Spaces in Berlin and panel discussions.
