Machine Readable Passport (MRP) service has remained suspended at Pakistan Consulate in Birmingham due to technical breakdown of the MPR System. As a result, the flow of applications got diverted to our Mission in London and other Consulates thereby saturating available appointment vacancies.

In the interim, to facilitate Pakistani diaspora. especially the Hajj aspirants, High Commissioner Dr. Mohammad Faisal has ordered the following with immediate effect:

1. All the applicants aspiring to perform Hajj, who furnish a proof/letter/document of being Hajj aspirant, will be facilitated without appointment at all the Pakistan’s Missions in the UK.

1. All Senior Citizens above 60 years of age will be facilitated without appointment for processing of their passports at all Pakistan Missions in the UK.

1. The daily number of appointments for processing of passports have been increased at all Pakistan’s Missions in the UK.

Every effort is being made to correct the system at Pakistan’s Consulate General in Birmingham at the earliest possible.

Inconvenience in this regard is regretted.
