An awareness webinar w.r.t. the Government of Pakistan’s Hajj Sponsorship Scheme 2025, was organised by the Embassy of Pakistan, Berlin.The aim of the webinar was to sensitize the diaspora regarding the subject scheme whereby; the overseas Pakistanis can proceed themselves or send their families residing in Pakistan on the holy journey without waiting for balloting.

Ambassador Saqlain Syedah welcomed the participants and noted that the Embassy is committed to facilitate diaspora and will continue working with the ministries back home to extend this facilitation in various aspects.

Mr. Muhammad Umar Butt, Spokesperson / Focal person of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony (M/o RA&IH), Islamabad, briefed the participants about the salient features of the scheme and answered the requisite queries of the diaspora.

The participants thanked the Embassy and (M/o RA&IH), for organising the event. A large number of community members attended the webinar.
