(Tokyo, July 30, 2025: The Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo, in collaboration with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), facilitated Pakistan’s participation in SPORTEC 2025, Japan’s premier exhibition for the sports, wellness, and fitness industry, held from 30 July to 1 August 2025 at Tokyo. In this event 520 exhibitors from 11 countries including Pakistan are participating and 7 Pakistani companies are highlighting Pakistan’s strengths in sports goods, athletic wear, and wellness-related products.
Mr. Abdul Hameed, Ambassador of Pakistan to Japan, attended the inauguration and visited the Pakistan Pavilion. During his interaction with the exhibitors and visitors, the Ambassador acknowledged the efforts of Pakistani exporters in promoting quality products and strengthening the country’s brand image in the Japanese market. He also emphasized the importance of increasing B2B engagement and leveraging Japan’s growing demand for high-quality sports and wellness equipment.
The participation at SPORTEC 2025 is part of Pakistan’s broader strategy to explore high-value non-traditional exports and establish market presence in advanced economies. The Embassy and TDAP remain committed to supporting Pakistani businesses in connecting with global buyers and expanding their footprint in the Japanese and Asia-Pacific markets.
