Pakistan Embassy in Astana Celebrated Independence Day of Pakistan and 150^th Birth Anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam

The Embassy held an event to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day and 150^th Birth Anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah within the premises of the Chancery on 14 August 2026. The event was attended by members of Pakistani community, locals, academics, members of civil society and students. The event commenced with a dignified Flag hoisting Ceremony followed by reading out of leadership messages from the President, Prime Minister and  Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan.

Special arrangements were also made to Celebrate the 150^th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. A dedicated Quaid-e-Azam corner was established for this event which featured the cake cutting ceremony, speech by a student from local University on Quaid-e-Azam which covered his message of unity and his important role for the Independence of Pakistan. Furthermore, slideshow of historical pictures from Quaid-e-Azam’s life, along with national songs and also Pictorial exhibition of Quaid-e-Azam was also arranged. Embassy also organized the distribution of books on Quaid-e-Azam’s life which were translated in local languages.

The Embassy also organized quiz competition for kids about Quaid-e-Azam’s life, biography and political struggle which was followed by a prize distribution ceremony.
