The Embassy of Pakistan in Rabat celebrated the 78th Anniversary of Pakistan’s Independence and Marka-e-Haq with a dignified and spirited flag-hoisting ceremony at the Chancery premises. Members of the Pakistani community in Morocco, along with their families, gathered to mark the occasion.The ceremony began with the hoisting of the national flag, accompanied by the national anthem, creating an atmosphere charged with pride and patriotism. Official messages from the President, Prime Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister of Pakistan were read on the occasion, reaffirming the nation’s vision, unity, and determination.Addressing the gathering, Ambassador Syed Adil Gilani congratulated the Pakistani diaspora on Pakistan’s decisive victory against India. He reiterated the leadership’s commitment to building a Pakistan that stands as a model for the world.A commemorative video marking Marka-e-Haq was screened for the community, evoking a deep sense of reflection and national pride. The celebrations continued with lively performances by community members on national songs, filling the venue with a spirit of joy, victory, and unity. The event served as a moment of collective pride for Pakistanis in Morocco, bringing together the community to honour the country’s journey, achievements, and aspirations for the future.
